Few things can sour a trip faster than misplaced luggage. In order to waylay this problem, travel and luggage brand Tumi has created the Tumi Global Locator. Travelers simply place the wireless tracking device—which uses GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth technology to monitor its whereabouts—in their bag, briefcase, or purse and use a mobile app on their smartphone to locate the item. The compact, FAA-compliant device powers down during flights and turns back on when landing.
